We may request additional information regarding a purchaser, organization, intended research purpose, or institutional affiliation when necessary to verify eligibility or compliance with these Terms.

3. Products and Intended Use

All products offered by KareTides are sold strictly for laboratory research purposes only. Products are not intended for human or animal consumption, administration, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, or any other clinical application. KareTides products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Information provided on the Website, including product descriptions, research information, scientific references, articles, and other educational materials, is provided for informational and research purposes only. Nothing on the Website constitutes medical advice, dosing guidance, treatment recommendations, or instructions for human or animal use.

5. Orders and Payment

KareTides reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order at any time, including orders we reasonably believe may violate these Terms or applicable laws. Product availability, pricing, promotions, and other information displayed on the Website may change without notice.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping options, estimated delivery times, and applicable charges will be displayed during checkout when available. Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed. KareTides is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, incorrect or incomplete shipping information, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order. Once an order has been shipped, changes to the delivery address may not be possible.

7. Returns and Refunds

All purchases from KareTides are subject to our Refund & Returns Policy. Due to the nature of our research-use materials and our quality-control standards, all sales are final. KareTides does not accept returns, offer exchanges, or provide monetary refunds.

If an order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, you must contact KareTides within 48 hours of delivery and provide your order number, clear photographs of the item received, photographs of the packaging and shipping label, and a brief description of the issue. KareTides will review the claim and, when appropriate, may provide a replacement or partial or full store credit. Damaged or incorrect items are not eligible for monetary refunds.

8. Intellectual Property

All content available through the KareTides Website, including text, graphics, logos, product names, photographs, illustrations, designs, Website layouts, software, and other materials, is owned by KareTides or its respective licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

KareTides does not provide or endorse dosing instructions, administration protocols, or recommendations concerning human or animal use. Requests for such information may be refused. Violations of these restrictions may result in cancellation of orders, suspension or termination of accounts, and refusal of future service.

10. Product Handling and Research Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that KareTides products are handled, stored, transported, and used appropriately within qualified research environments. Purchasers are responsible for establishing appropriate laboratory procedures, safety protocols, storage conditions, personal protective measures, and disposal practices applicable to their research.

KareTides assumes no responsibility for results or consequences arising from improper handling, storage, contamination, degradation, reconstitution, misuse, or use outside the product’s stated research purpose.

11. Certificates of Analysis and Product Information

KareTides utilizes Kovera Labs, an independent third-party laboratory, to test our products for quality and purity. When provided, Certificates of Analysis (“COAs”), analytical results, purity information, and other product documentation reflect the results of testing performed at the time of analysis. These documents are provided for informational and research purposes and do not constitute a warranty that a product is appropriate for any particular experiment, application, or research objective.

Researchers are responsible for reviewing the applicable COA and product specifications and determining whether a product is appropriate for their specific research requirements.

12. Assumption of Risk

By purchasing, possessing, handling, storing, or using products from KareTides, you acknowledge that research materials may involve inherent risks and require appropriate laboratory knowledge, equipment, and procedures.

You voluntarily assume responsibility for risks associated with your possession, handling, storage, and use of KareTides products, including risks arising from improper storage, contamination, degradation, misuse, or use inconsistent with their stated research purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The KareTides Website and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. KareTides disclaims warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

This includes claims arising from representing research products as suitable for human or animal use or making medical, therapeutic, dosing, health, or similar claims regarding KareTides products that have not been authorized by KareTides.

16. Termination

KareTides reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Website or a customer account and to refuse or cancel current or future orders when we reasonably determine that these Terms have been violated, products may be misused, fraudulent activity is suspected, applicable laws may be violated, or continued service may create risk for KareTides, our customers, or others.

Termination does not eliminate obligations or liabilities arising before termination or provisions of these Terms that are intended to survive termination.
